The use of cookies

When you visit, no cookies are set. However, cookies are set if you log in to The Toolbox or Customer Admin.


What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that are placed on your device by websites that you visit.

There are different types of web cookies. A persistent cookie stay on the user’s browser until an expiration date. Session cookies are temporarily stored in the computer memory while you visit a web site.

When logged into our services

When you log into our services, either as a user in the Toolbox or Customer admin, or as a visitor on our invite links, a sessions cookie is set that is necessary for the functionality of the service. Technically, it is used to identify a session between the client and the web server. No information is saved and the cookie expires after a time of inactivity.

Your web browser can be set to automatically deny the storage of cookies or to inform you each time a website requests permission to store a cookie. Previously stored cookies can also be deleted via the web browser. Your options depend on the browser you are using, please review the browser support pages for more information.

Our services on the online Toolbox do not work if you deny the storage of cookies in your web browser. But you can always use our services using your own email.
